Students in Masters programme of Counselling Psychology who need to complete their internship as part of their course requirements can apply to the internship programme at aarambha.

It was my first experience to intern at a private counselling centre and I am glad to have chosen Aarambha as under the guidance and support of Mrs Shilpa. I was able to learn a lot about the practicalities of the profession of counselling. In a very small span of time I could be a part of Aarambha, I have learnt to be confident enough about the future that this profession holds for me. I have had the opportunity to have some detailed case discussions and conversations around many issues that made me realize of all the ethics, and procedures that I must make sure to follow when I would start to practice as a Counselor. It was through these in-depth conversations I started to notice and observe of all the details that I must remember as a Counselor. I am happy that I started my journey of gaining practical knowledge in this field by being a part of Aarambha. I would want to thank the institute and Mrs Shilpa Waghmare for their time and constant support we received and giving me this opportunity to learn.

As a part of my 1st yr PG Fieldwork I interned at Aarambha. I attended online and offline weekly sessions which gave me an insight about the various counselling skills and how well can a counselling session be conducted. Shilpa ma'am also made sure that we did a feeling check at the end of the day. I have also improved on my communication and interpersonal skills. Having interned here, I feel I am better equipped with an experience that I can carry forward into my career.
